Finding talent and hiring
Overview:
The most popular streaming service in the world, Netflix has 222 million paying subscribers in more than 190 countries who enjoy TV shows, documentaries, feature films, and mobile games in a range of genres and languages. Members have unlimited access to watch on any screen that is connected to the Internet at any time. Without interruptions or obligations, members can play, pause, and resume watching at any time. We are at the confluence of cutting-edge technology and award-winning entertainment, driven by our culture of freedom and responsibility as well as some of the most creative and collaborative talent on the planet. The Netflix Talent team, which is in charge of locating, luring, and nurturing the company's team of attractive employees, is at the center of this.

The Group:

As a member of the Talent Acquisition Team, Talent Intelligence collaborates with executives across the organization to help Netflix find, hire, and retain outstanding talent. On important talent issues, the talent intelligence team acts as a consultative partner.
The team makes use of information on the external labor market to address pressing internal talent issues and to support the creation of a strong, data-driven long-term talent strategy. You will serve as the connecting link between the team's efforts across all Netflix functions worldwide, seeing chances for cooperation.

What I Do:

You will act as a committed consultative partner to the business and talent teams in this position. You will be required to consider both the real and abstract: how shifting economic and competitive conditions should influence how we find and keep the world's top talent. You will be asked to identify difficulties that our talent teams should anticipate in the future and to consider strategically and creatively how to effectively prepare our teams to handle these difficulties. Using your market sizing data to inform recruiting strategy, offering guidance on team structure, cultivating connections with industry experts, or offering information into talent density to influence office location selections could all be part of your day's work.

You:

• You are incredibly curious about everything. Being able to learn about a new industry inspires you because you are a lifelong learner. When given a specific amount of time to understand a new subject, you can decide how much information is necessary for the work at hand without just skimming the surface or going in-depth.

• You are a pioneer. When faced with a dilemma, you come up with original solutions. Depending on what works best for the circumstance, you're equally likely to employ a tried-and-true strategy and to try something completely novel.

• You have a strong sense of loyalty to your coworkers, so when you hear a phrase like "people above process," you don't just get enthusiastic about positive business outcomes; you also consider the positive effects on people that this idea can have. You can associate cross-functionally with a wide range of partners thanks to your inherent people orientation.

• You exemplify our commitment to inclusiveness and may even have acquired life skills that have guided you down an uncommon but extraordinarily rewarding path. We are more interested in how amazing you are as a person than how impressive your background sounds. And we anticipate that you will use this inclusive and open-minded attitude in the work you undertake in and with Talent at Netflix.

• You've had at least five years of professional experience strategizing about big-picture company issues. Although it is not necessary to have prior expertise in talent intelligence, you must be really interested in learning about the talent market. You might have prior expertise in consulting, market research, executive search, or pay strategy for the tech sector.
