Position: Liquor Cashier
About the job: What You'll Do At
Maintains the facility's safety by adhering to all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. This includes performing safety sweeps, using the right forklift spotting techniques, following the company's steel standard rules, and fixing/notifying management of any unsafe conditions.
By appropriately managing claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing the merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages, the Sales Floor in the Liquor area is maintained in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
By acknowledging the Members, determining their wants, assisting with purchase decisions, finding merchandise, addressing problems and concerns, and marketing the Company's goods and services, the Company offers member service.
Maintains product presentation by properly signing and pricing merchandise, removing damaged goods, replenishing merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, and protecting delicate and high-shrink products.
Using the proper procedures for various membership and payment kinds operates hardware such as cash registers or related equipment, processes member purchases, and aids in payments, returns, refunds, and swaps.
Maintains cash registers and checkout lanes minimizes shrink by filling box bins and register supplies, adheres to company policies and guidelines for spotting hidden goods, and makes an effort to reach front-end performance targets.
Secures goods, maintain signage, confirms member identification, and fills out and maintains paperwork, forms, and necessary documentation while adhering to company and legal laws and procedures for liquor sales.
