Hire Counsel is
looking for a qualified lawyer with experience in financial litigation to join
a top AmLaw 100 firm. An experienced litigator has a fantastic opportunity to
work in a high-pressure setting with a renowned company, handle their own
caseload, and earn important experience. This is a 6-month or longer position
with a permanent option.
Qualification for
3+ years of litigation
experience with a high number of cases
Good standing with the
California bar
Superior drafting
abilities (motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses).
Experience with
contested foreclosures is advantageous.
It is necessary to be
able to handle cases for contested financial services litigations independently
in a fast-paced environment.
It is also necessary
to have courtroom experience and strong academic credentials. Finally, it is
necessary to be a team player.
Responsibilities for
Drafting trial
documents for contested financial services litigation - foreclosures, HOBR,
federal statutes - RESPA. Working on claims relating to contested foreclosures,
including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, requests, or responses to
discovery for complex contested foreclosure/loan portfolio cases. Managing a
large volume of cases from beginning to end under the supervision of a Sr.
Hourly wage: $100
